R.C. Hope, D.V.M.

Dr. Hope was born and raised in OKC, and worked at Warwick Animal Hospital while attending Putnam City North High School as well as summers while attending Oklahoma State University.  He graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing at Warwick Animal Hospital since 1993.  R.C. and wife D'Anna have a daughter Riley who is attending speech pathology school at OU Health Sciences Center, and a son Jack, who is attending the University of Central Missouri on a golf scholarship.  Dr. Hope became the sole owner of Warwick Animal Hospital in January 2023.  Outside the hospital Dr. Hope loves to go to the lake, fish and play golf whenever possible.

Krista L. Vega, D.V.M.

Dr. Krista Vega was born and raised in Oklahoma. She graduated with her undergraduate degree from OSU in 2002 and Veterinary School in 2006. She continued her education via an internship in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She lived and worked in McKinney, Texas for 5 years before returning home to Oklahoma with her husband Chris and children. She has 2 boys Karson and Dax, and a daughter Cydney. She has a maltese, 2 frenchies, 1 standard poodle and maltese mix. Her interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, neurology, radiology, emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active with her children and spending time outdoors. She is an active volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Shelly Ashley, D.V.M.

Dr. Shelly Ashley is originally from Oklahoma. Starting out at Putnam City North High School, she later earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 1994. Dr. Ashley practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Florida for 26 years, but moved back to the sooner state with her husband, Stephen and son, Jackson in 2020. Her special interests include dentistry, endocrinology and soft tissue surgery. The Ashley family includes two golden retrievers and any time spent on or in the water is our happy place.

Andy Cooper, D.V.M

Dr. Cooper is a 1991 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been in private practice since then and has practiced at Warwick Animal Hospital since January 2022. He has four adult children and enjoys horses, camping, fishing, reading, and woodworking.

Dr. Boatsman

Dr. Boatsman was born and raised an Oklahoman. Most of his formidable years were spent in a small town in the southwest part of the state called Cache. After graduating from high school here he attended Oklahoma State University. He graduated in the same veterinary class as Dr. Hope in 1993. Following veterinary school he moved back to the Lawton area, where he practiced small animal and equine medicine. In 2000 he moved to Okc and worked in emergency care for 20 years. He has one son and loves the outdoors. Interests include surgery and radiology. He still practices equine medicine today.
